2017 Moonshiner's Ball

The 2017 Moonshiner’s Ball will take place in the Red Lick Valley in Irvine, Kentucky on May 19 – 21.  Organizers have revealed the initial line-up for the 4th annual music festival which will feature performances by Con Brio, Lydia Loveless, The Marcus King Band, Margaret Glaspy, Vandaveer, Aaron Lee Tasjan, Lil’ Smokies, Jon Stickley Trio, That 1 Guy, Tyler Childers, Golden Dawn Arkestra, Dawg Yawp, Blackfoot Gypsies, The Wooks, Nellie Pearl and Johnny Conqueroo.  Additional acts will be announced in coming weeks and months.

The Jenkin’s Family Farm in the Red Lick Valley is a private festival venue, located in one of the most beautiful and secluded valleys in Appalachian Kentucky.   A gentle creek runs along the treeline, allowing children to splash and play as parents take in the music drifting down from the main stage.  Come open to new ideas and you will leave with new friends and a refreshed soul.

The Moonshiner’s Ball was created by host band, The Blind Corn Liquor Pickers, to shine a spotlight on Kentucky artists, musicians, poets and activists, presenting alongside a carefully curated slate of national and international performers.   Year four promises to be the most impressive production to date.
