New Noise Album Review

via New Noise Magazine

The second album from Marcus King and company and first with the legendary Warren Haynes turning the knobs, though King is a youngster, barely in his 20s, his blues, country and rock guitar skills far exceed his years. Now expanded to a six piece, the addition of horns add another dimension to their brand of southern rock, where ’70s sounds, funky keys, and soulful jam band ideas come together under King’s uniquely raspy vocals. If the work of Tedeschi Trucks Band or The Allman Brothers mean anything to you, expect The Marcus King Band to occupy a lot of your time.
